Golden State Warriors on the path to the history record

If they win, and fans feel confident they will, the Warriors will set a new record for the best start to the season.

Oklahoma City’s Russell Westbrook had 31 points and 11 assists, hitting two key baskets in the final 63 seconds, to lead the Thunder past Dallas 117-114, halting the Mavericks’ six-game winning streak. “It’s a huge accomplishment but we want to take it to another level. 15 straight times at the start of the season, couldn’t have asked for a better start, obviously”, Curry said.

There is no doubt Golden State is the class of the National Basketball Association this season, but it is truly dominating competition – if you can even call the other National Basketball Association “competition” at this point – on its way to record-breaking status.

“Congrats on being 15-0”, Curry said, smiling.

Warriors vs. Lakers tipoff at 7:30 p.m.at Oracle Arena, Tuesday night. Luke Walton had to fill in for Coach Steve Kerr as the latter recovers from two off-season back surgeries.

Walton, 35, says he’s unfazed by the fact that the wins don’t count towards his record.

“I’m just trying to be calm about the situation and stick to the present”. Klay Thompson went 4-for-7 from the three-point arc and scored 21, and Stephen Curry placed 19 points on the board, as the undefeated Warriors put forth a team effort sans sensational stat lines. It was actually the first time all season Curry didn’t reach the 20-point mark. “It’s a hard task”, said Nikola Jokic, who had 11 points and 11 rebounds. With his 44 made 3s through nine games, Curry is now on pace for 400 made 3-pointers this season. “Darrell stepped up and had a heck of a game”. But it was the Warriors team that throttled his Nuggets squad. “I would be shocked if L.A. wins tomorrow night”, he said. An L.A. win means that the Warriors will remain tied with the 1993-94 Houston Rockets, who began 15-0 en route to the championship.

Lakers coach Byron Scott said the Warriors are the best team he’s seen in a while and star guard Kobe Bryant said stranger things have happened than a team playing as poorly as the Lakers beating one as dominant as the Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors just keep on rolling. Isaiah Thomas and Avery Bradley each scored 27 points for the Celtics, while Brook Lopez (23) led the way for the victors.

Just when we think we’ve seen everything from Curry, he continues to amaze in every game. “When Ian got in there he tried to make a few plays”.
