Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (30) reacts after making a 3-point basket during the first half of an NBA basketball game against the Los Angeles Lakers in Oakland, Calif., Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015.

The Warriors surpassed the 15-0 starts of the 1948-1949 Washington Capitals and the 1993-1994 Houston Rockets, playing in front of a standing-room-only crowd at Oracle Arena.

My only reserve are the away games and tiredness, but Golden State are in such form that they can do anything to beat anybody.

Curry said in his television interview that it was “special” to be in the history books. “Nice little feeling, want to keep it going”.

The Warriors blistering start to the season however remains well short of the longest winning streak in history, which continues to be the 33-game run set by the Lakers in the 1971-72 season.

The Warriors will try for 17-0 when they visit the Phoenix Suns on the day after Thanksgiving.

The Warriors were well on their way to doing so after taking a 30-11 lead in the first quarter, marking the fewest points they have allowed in any quarter this season. He hit 7 of 8 from beyond the arc and also secured eight rebounds, which makes it tough to argue with his sentiment. He also finished 1 for 14 last season against San Antonio, according to STATS.

Gary Neal scored 23 points off the bench for the Wizards, whose three-game winning streak was snapped. Teague scored 16 points with nine assists and two steals in Atlanta’s 121-97 win against the Celtics.

Jordan finished with 11 rebounds and four blocks, and Griffin had 10 rebounds. Chris Paul had 15 points and 10 assists to give the Clippers three players with double-doubles.

The Clippers, who hadn’t been under. 500 this far into a season under coach Doc Rivers, made eight 3-pointers after coming into the game at 31.3 percent. Russell hit shots, while Randle bruised his way to buckets. The Warriors’ largest lead on the night was 41 points.

Raymond Felton and J.J. Barea each scored 16 points and tried to pull the Mavericks back into the game in the fourth quarter.

In Salt Lake City, Oklahoma City star Kevin Durant had 27 points and six rebounds in his return from a hamstring injury as the Thunder took a 111-89 win over the Jazz. Lou Williams got hot and scored 10 points on 4-of-4 shooting. “A lot of players who’ve played in this league, a lot of great teams, and nobody has accomplished what this team has tonight….” They don’t care who scores. James will soon eclipse Robertson’s scoring total and the unselfish superstar is a good bet to pass the guard on the assist list as well. His floating jumper stretched Chicago’s lead to 78-65 early in the fourth quarter, but Portland rallied within 78-76 on Ed Davis’ tip shot.

Golden State shot 48.9 percent from the field and 34.3 percent from 3-point range.
