MCEVERS: I mean, we are barely a month into what is a very long season, and already people are making comparisons to the Chicago Bulls, you know, the team that was led by Michael Jordan and won a record 72 games in 1996.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry predicts the Golden State Warriors will lose a game before the Carolina Panthers, the only unbeaten team in the NFL. Alec Burks scored six straight and Favors gave the Jazz a 99-97 lead on a three-point play. With two traditional bigs it will also be hard for Hayward, the team’s best perimeter offensive option, to get space to operate when attacking the basket. “Had a shot at the end”.

The Golden State Warriors (19-0) are set to take on the Charlotte Hornets (10-7) in Charlotte tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. “He’s going to make shots”.

Stephen Curry knows it would be almost impossible for the Golden State Warriors to pull off an unbeaten season. Following Charlotte is a matchup with a Toronto Raptors team that played the Warriors extremely tough in Oracle Arena just weeks prior, and a Brooklyn Nets team that took the Dubs an additional five-minute OT period to decide. Brandon Rush started in his place….

The victory opened a seven-game trip that continues with Curry’s return to his hometown of Charlotte, where he’s averaged 29.0 points in five visits. Former Jazz guard Ian Clark hit four triples off the bench….

Curry only had seven points on 3-of-8 shooting before the break.

NOTES: The Jazz assigned C Tibor Pleiss, a 7-foot-3 German, to their D-League affiliate, the Idaho Stampede. Snyder said he just needs the experience of being on the court and playing through mistake…. They have stepped up defensively, holding their last five opponents to 95 points or fewer.

In Salt Lake City, with a Jazz team that’s great on defense and has the size and talent to match up with the Warriors on defense, it was possibly their biggest challenge yet. The first three of those were all on jumpers by Bradley, two of them being 3-pointers, and Wade lamented afterward that Miami couldn’t get stops at the biggest moments.

“We had a lot of guys step up”.

The Rockets got back into the game by constantly intentionally fouling Drummond – he went 4-for-18 from the line – but were never within one possession. The Warriors are known for their small-ball lineups. The image just stays with you that teams had these successful winning streaks. “But it’s something that you get used to, and the thing that I like about it most is, it’s elevated our play…” “They hit a lot of shots”, Warriors guard Shaun Livingston said.

Curry’s father, Dell, will be honored during a halftime ceremony Wednesday night for his contributions to the Hornets organization.
