Robert Allenby of Australia was arrested outside of a casino in Rock Island, Illinois early Saturday morning after missing the cut in the John Deere Classic, according to police department arrest reports.

It is not yet known if and when Allenby will have to appear in front of a judge in court.

Earlier, he had been playing at the John Deere Classic where he missed the cut by three strokes after shooting even-par 142.

“There’s nothing to be said or done about”, Allenby said.

Allenby needed to come up with just 10 per cent of the bond – $US150 – to make bail, the spokesman said.

Allenby has now been released from custody after posing part of his $US1500 ($1948) bond.
