The 70-yarder to Whitfield was the longest of his short Florida State career, while his second went to Travis Rudolph from 13 yards with 12:44 left in the game to put the Seminoles up, 34-14, to all but end it. The Florida State Seminoles are 3-0 and 2-1 against the spread. He’s breaking off runs.
Cook, Florida State’s prized Heisman contender, finished the game with 163 yards rushing on 22 carries, and also caught four passes for 60 yards. With a bad hammy.
Watch here as he just beasts his way through the Louisville defense for the 54-yard touchdown and the lead. Florida State wasn’t going to let him get loose running the ball. Quarterback Lamar Jackson threw for 103 yards and a touchdown in 10 of 27 passes.
Immediately following the Cardinals’ touchdown, Golson completed a pass to Kermit Whitfield who led Florida State to their second touchdown of the quarter, giving the Seminoles’ the lead again at 20-14.
The Cardinals’ defense – as well as a still-ailing hamstring – kept Cook under wraps in the first and second quarters. Florida State vs Louisville scores and results will be posted here. Over under has seen the Louisville Cardinals go a 2-2 so far, while the Florida State Seminoles go 1-2.
A fumbled snap between center Ryan Hoefeld and quarterback Everett Golson resulted in a 10-yard loss for FSU to halt the drive downfield.

James Quick in the corner. Louisville gave up 41 points to an offense that had struggled for a lot of this season. And in the second half couldn’t do much of anything.
