Hundreds of Brown County residents will join together this Friday at the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Brown County to help save more lives from cancer.
Now, more than 5,200 communities participate in Relay for Life, making it one of the largest not-for-profit events in the world, according to the society.
Two parts of the night included the Survivors Lap, where all of the survivors walk the first lap of the event and the Luminaria Ceremony, which takes place after dark, as candles are lit in the memory of those who have died from cancer.
