LOS ANGELES Actress Angelina Jolie has filed for dissolution of marriage from her husband Brad Pitt, Jolie’s attorney said in a statement on Tuesday.

According to United States entertainment website TMZ, Jolie cited “irreconcilable differences” in the divorce papers and listed the date of separation of 15 September.
Jolie is asking for physical custody of their six children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Viviennne.
In addition to appearing in Mr. and Mrs. Smith together, the two also co-starred in the 2015 film By the Sea, which Jolie wrote and directed, about a couple attempting to fix their troubled marriage.
Jolie, who is the daughter of actor Jon Voight, rose to fame with roles in films such as The Bone Collector and Girl, Interrupted.
Pitt started the Make It Right Foundation after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, donating $5m to help rebuild New Orleans after the disaster.
She’s worked with the likes of Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie, Stevie Wonder (two times), and at least three Kardashians.
“This decision was made for the health of the family”.

So like we said, it hardly sounds like Brad’s putting himself in any sort of serious danger, but perhaps Jolie figured that he should put the bong away for good now that they’re kids are old enough to sort things out for themselves.
