Goodell: Brady ruling could come next week
Roger Goodell has heard the appeal from Tom Brady, and now he seems ready to hand down his ruling on the Patriots quarterback’s suspension.

In outlining why Brady will eventually play in Week 1 for the Patriots, I pointed out we could expect to get a ruling on his appeal – at the very earliest – on Friday, June 10. So a decision might not exactly offer the finality we’re looking for.
But we also learn a little bit about his football life in New England and gain some insight into Tom Brady and Bill Belichick as leaders.
The investigation began following the AFC Championship game when 11 of 12 game balls tested at halftime of the Patriots’ win over the Indianapolis Colts were found to be below PSI minimums. The quarterback testified at an appeal hearing last month in New York, and it is now up to Goodell to determine whether to uphold, reduce or eliminate the original penalty. Wells issued his findings on May 6, 2015, finding that locker room attendant Jim McNally and equipment assistant John Jastremski participated in a deliberate effort to deflate footballs prior to the game.
When Goodell’s ruling comes down it does not necessarily mean that the appeal process will be over.
That is tomorrow and Goodell’s not even in the office, so that seems laughable.

If one photo is any indication, the relationship between Robert Kraft and Roger Goodell is alive and well.
