On Google, searching for information about your favorite athletes and sports, the medal race, or your country’s schedule will come handy now. As a result, official broadcasters’ video highlights will be available right on the video site as well as directly in Google Search. They’ll be hosting live-streams of selected events and filming 360-degree videos – the latter presumably for later perusal on virtual reality headsets like the Gear VR. Like most tech companies and just as in past years, Google is adding features that help viewers find content and information related to the events. “[You can] the places where the world’s most talented athletes will make history” from the comfort of your couch, Google said.
