Google Calendar On Android Makes It Easy To Schedule Meetings

The updated Google Calendar app for Android comes to the rescue with its new Find Time feature. The Web giant on Wednesday introduced a new feature in Calendar for Android called “Find a time,” which lets you schedule meetings wherever you are.

In the event that none of the suggested times work for everybody, Find a Time will also suggest which meetings are the easiest for participants to reschedule in order to make a group discussion work. The company announced “Find a time”, a feature which is specifically built for Google Apps for Work and Edu users.

Google’s efforts to police the Android app store – Google Play – are far from ideal, with malicious apps routinely slipping through its review process.

Some were quick enough to turn on the option, and they have reported the opening of a new Play Store app which however closes after running a short tutorial. When tapped, “Find a time” helps find meeting times which work for everyone, even if they are in different time zones.

In the Google Play app on Android phones and tablets, a line of text will read “Contains ads” just beneath an ad- supported app’s green install button.

Google has updated its Google Analytics App for smartphones.

At the time, Google claimed that Google Play reached over 1 billion people on Android devices across 190 countries and Search Ads would help them discover apps they could have missed. For those who manage another person’s Calendar, they can use the feature to schedule meetings on their behalf.

According to the planned revision, users will be able to remove apps preloaded by Google, Apple, handset makers and telecom carriers. While lyrics are accessible from third-party apps, Play Music gets a little extra special sauce: users can also see the lyrics of the next song in the playlist, if there is one.
