Google expected to launch Allo this week
Sure the messenger territory is now taken over by giants like Facebook’s Messenger, WhatsApp and Snapchat, Google Allo does have quite a set of tricks up its sleeve, which makes it stand out of the crowd. Make photos your own by scribbling on them before you send.

Google is preparing another major launch for later this week, reports have claimed. The Smart Reply feature will also work with photo messages, where users will get suggestions based on the content of the photo that is received.
Google’s competition to Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and Snapchat – Allo, might be up for its official launch on September 21. You no longer need to leave a conversation with friends just to grab an address, share your favorite YouTube video, or pick a dinner spot.

Google Allo stands out from rival messaging platforms thanks to Google Assistant integration, Smart Reply functionality and chats in incognito mode. Google Allo can help you make plans, find information, and express yourself more easily in chat. You can set up conversation with @google and ask all sort of questions within Allo. For example, when I asked the Google Assistant what I should eat, it asked what types of cuisine I like. You will be able to easily bring Google searches into conversations with your friends. Just over a month ago, Google launched its minimalist video calling app Duo that already has over 10 million downloads. Allo also provides end-to-end encryption, GIF support and Snapchatesque ability to destroy sent messages, but the best thing about this app is that it only requires your phone number to identify you. For instance, if you receive a picture of a baby, the prompt feature will generate a response like “so cute!” Moreover, the Google Allo enables you to answer to messages. But Google hasn’t ruled out adding more personalization options in the future. You can also message friends who aren’t yet using Google Allo through SMS or, for those using Android, app preview messages. This app is also available on iOS App Store.
