Google finally makes new Android name official; release date news
According to reports, Taiwanese handset maker HTC’s forthcoming Nexus handset for Google – codenamed Nexus Sailfish – has recently been spotted on AnTuTu Benchmark.

But what about the Nexus 7 2016 compact Stock Android tablet, which actually was rumored to come out ahead of its phone cousins?
Steve Hemmerstoffer from NowhereElse first discovered the AnTuTu listing on Weibo. It is going to be supported by a surprisingly large random access memory (RAM) of 4 gigabytes (GB) and a massive built-in memory capacity of 128 GB, which is similar to the storage capacity of the Nexus 6P.
After Google confirmed that Android 7.0 Nougat will be out soon, various smartphone manufacturers revealed that they are gearing up to roll out the upcoming mobile operating system as soon as it comes out. While the front camera is an 8-megapixel unit, the rear camera packs an impressive 13-megapixel resolution. The benchmarking sites indicated that the phone would feature a Full HD screen with 1920 x 1080 display resolution.
The only LG device strongly believed to be updated to Google’s latest Android system is the LG G5, while some say that the LG G4 and LG V10 may receive updates as well.
HTC is slated to build both of Google’s upcoming Nexus smartphones, which will also serve as launch pads for Android 7.0 Nougat. This new launcher will no longer have the app drawer button, giving more space for a fifth icon. Aside from adding Explore Interests to bring more relevant cards and the improved weather card, Google Now is being updated with a new “Dashboard” tab where “Home” is also placed.
The Nexus 2016 phones are reported too to distribute via carrier, which likely is intended for the brand to have wider reach. Expectedly, this would be a cause for disappointment for users.

Google typically launches its new Nexus devices in the fall, so it could be a couple of months until we see the devices officially unveiled.
