If you’ve preordered the Nexus 5X, you’re going to have to spend a few more dollars if you want to connect it to your computer’s USB port. That’s because out of the box, Google and LG’s smartphone doesn’t come with a cable that works with standard USB port commonly found on most desktop computers around the world, according to Android blog Phandroid.
They started with handsets names, the “X” in Nexus5X represents the core of NeXus brand and the “P” in Nexus 6p means Premium.
Based on specifications, Nexus 6P and iPhone 6S represent the best display technology in the market. The addition of wireless charging would’ve bulked up the two new phones. Burke claims that the feature was dropped because its inclusion would have made the phone bulkier and USB Type-C is a much faster solution.
NOTE: Terms USB Type-C and USB-C are used interchangeably in this article – and will likely be used interchangeably in the future all over the web, as well.
“Fingerprint features are securely encrypted on the device, and processed in the secure Trustzone protected area of memory”, the team said.It added that fingerprint APIs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow block apps’ access to the fingerprint material.
Google announced the launch of the flagship devices from its popular Nexus range in the United States yesterday.
