The unveiling of Google’s in-house designed phone came as part of an expanded hardware move by the United States giant, which also revealed details of its new “home assistant”, virtual reality headset and Wi-Fi router system. Home, Google’s new smart speaker, will be able to use voice to control Netflix and other vid.
Google has unveiled a new smartphone and a virtual reality (VR) headset it hopes will take on the likes of Apple and Samsung. The speaker also connects with Chromecast and Chromecast Audio devices, meaning the device has more control over home entertainment.

Assistant does everything you’d expect from an AI helper, but with the added benefit of Google’s vast “Knowledge Graph” that’s loaded with data no other company can match. It began in the 1980s with personal computers.
Google just announced its Pixel smartphones, but unfortunately for Google, the beans were already spilled prior to the official debut. Also, when it comes to future updates, Google’s own phones tend to be updated first compared with other Android phone makers like Samsung or Sony. But it’s putting more emphasis on hardware as it competes for consumers’ attention.
