Google launches public beta version of its search app for Android
Google engineer Kirill Grouchnikov has spilled the beans on a major new visual overhaul coming to Google’s Play Store on mobile – and reports suggest the refreshed look is now rolling out to users across the world.

The plain ol’ Google app is an important piece of Android, giving you goodies like Google Now, the cards that are inside of Now, and more.
Unfortunately, the post on Google+ didn’t make any mention of a possible release date for the update, but it most likely won’t be too long based on Grouchnikov’s #soon hashtag when he posted the images.
The app store’s new appearance will also come with Google’s new logo.
TechCrunch reported that all the apps are now categorized under two main categories which are “Apps & Games” and “Entertainment”. Besides that, the old Top games and apps are still available and can be accessed via a quick access key on top of the apps with an addition of Family category which contains contents that are deemed as being kid-friendly. The Google app is a very interesting option for a beta program, because it controls quite a bit in Android, including Google search, voice commands, Google Now, and Now on Tap.
Also, he said that the latest Store release supports right-to-left flow of information for all RTL languages supported by the platform..

Google has literally given a face-lift to the app store, by introducing a new set of animations. The move is accepted well among developers as the new technology on a smartphone has enabled users to play and use apps with higher size without any crash or lagging. There’s a lot of places to get a few cool features before others.
