Google, however, recently announced on Twitter that the OTA files of the Nexus 6P will soon start rolling out to all persons using the handsets.

Google Android 7.0 Nougat update was released to some of the Nexus devices on 22 August. Only those who own Nexus 6P. The company has also released factory images and OTA binaries for Nexus devices.
Nougat was released earlier than anticipated, or rather earlier than Android previous versions which were usually launched at the end of September together with the official release of the new Nexus.
The latest update on the Google Nexus 2016 suggested that the two variants of the smartphones newly codenamed as Pixel & Pixel XL will sport excellent specs like 13-megapixel rear camera, huge display, and an updated operating system.
Android Nougat is bringing with it a slew of security improvements, many of them under the covers, and the one that likely will have the biggest long-term effect is the major rebuilding effort Google undertook on the media stack.
Android gets a bad rap for its fragmented security-update process, although that’s arguably the fault of handset makers and wireless carriers who alter Google’s stock Android builds.
However, if you really want to test out Android Nougat and you don’t really care about the battery drainage issue, you’ll have to join the Android Beta program from Google which will offer you access to the latest stable and updated version of the OS. “In Android Nougat, we’ve both hardened and re-architected mediaserver, one of the main system services that processes untrusted input”, Xin wrote.
Yes, that’s true that Google is re-branding the Google Nexus smartphone. Alternatively, download and use the Quick Reboot app from the Google Play Store, which requires root access on your phone.
As for prices, Vine Report previously reported that the 32GB variants of Marlin or Pixel XL and Sailfish or Pixel could sell for $449 and $599 selectively. Let us know if you received the update or not and stay tuned for details on this.

From the lock screen of your Android device, you can still see the similar notification cards, but with a twist.
