Google Play Movies and TV iOS app updated to add AirPlay support
According to Techno Buffalo, the new update released by Google is only available to the fourth-generation Apple TV and third-generation devices that run on tvOS version 7.0 or newer. Following AirPlay support, it may be only a matter of time before Google apps surface on the Apple TV App Store.

Google did not make an official announcement regarding the iOS app update, likely to keep customers focus on the Android operating system.
Additionally, the app is now showing gas prices when you search for nearby gas stations.
With the Google app for iOS now boasting integrated 3D Touch functionality, shortcuts for standard, voice or image searches can be pulled up by the app’s users by hard-pressing the screen of their iOS devices. While this was previously possible using the main iOS AirPlay setting, it’s now supported in the app itself.
The offer is limited to one per each of the eight movies, so you can gift more than one if you’re interested in a couple of the films on this list. You can now look up your desired restaurant and if it is full, you can pick an alternative without having to go there to find out.
If you haven’t received the update yet, you can check for it by going to the App Store.

The app update also adds HD streaming to the app, along with cellular streaming. This was a feature that first came to Android when Google announced that it would allow users to add stops to their routes, like gas stations. Now you can see what you always knew about any business or retail location: It starts getting busy after lunch.
