Google Play Services updated to V 8.1 with (unusable) Android Pay

With the latest update to Play Services which should bring users to version 8.1, Google is laying the groundwork for Android Pay to be up and running by adding the necessary bits and pieces into the Play Services apk which started updating for a small number of people last week.
The only problem is this feature has to be turned on by Google before it becomes accessible. Now, when you go back to your settings, then you’ll see that the Android Pay option will not be there anymore.
Once linked to an iPhone, the experience on an Android Wear should be about the same as that with an Android phone. “WarmWelcomeActivity” to open up and run the welcome screen of Android Pay.
However, this feature has not been enabled by Google, which means that you can’t use the Android Pay yet. Let’s get you caught up.
Earlier reports suggested that Google would time the release of Android Pay to sync with the introduction of the Nexus 5 (2015) device, but Google has not made a formal announcement regarding the release date of Android Pay.

The new service for smartwatches with iPhones aims to use some of the most popular features from Android, including providing alerts for e-mails, calendar items and fitness updates. For starters, this is not just another app; the functionality will be built right into the operating system. It can also support fingerprint readers and other security measures. This is pretty much Google Wallet, but condensed into a single objective and refined.
