Google releases Android stock “Phone” and “Contacts” apps
When it comes to Google and their apps, the company does have a ton of apps available for you to download and install. The latest apps to make the plunge are the stock Dialer and Contacts apps, which are now available on Google Play.

The Contacts app organizes all the people into your life with space to include a photo, email address and phone number.
This allows users to choose whether they use the equivalent apps provided by their smartphone out of the box or Google’s, where before it was just a choice between their manufacturer-made apps or those made by other 3rd-party developers.
The dialler app, on the other hand, received a handful of more substantial changes.
Google has released a lot of Android apps in the Play Store over the years, and today it added two more apps to its library. Of course, being on the Play Store does not mean that you can run over and download them now.
The apps are only in limited release, with access seemingly limited to Android One, Nexus and Google Play Edition devices running Marshmallow.
With the Phone app, Google doesn’t seem to have updated much if anything, but the new version is available as v2.3.12.
– Integration with your Contacts App – Create new users by importing your existing contacts directly from the App.

To coincide with the move, Google has pushed updates to both programs, though it appears only those with Nexus devices running Marshmallow will be able to grab them.
