Google releases Live Wallpaper called “Meter”
As you can see in the screenshots above, the live wallpaper displays information like battery level, wireless signal and notifications in a visually pleasing way.

Hate boring, static wallpaper? The Android Experiments page notes that the original design and concept for Meter app has been given by Mikkel Koser with code by Jonas Jongejan and Kyle Philips. The code that went into making the app is also available on GitHub for developers to examine.
What is great with this live wallpaper is that it moves around, thanks to the accelerometer of the user’s device. As the battery on your smartphone starts to drain, the circle featured in the foreground of the wallpaper starts to shrink. The inverted triangle shows your Wi-Fi signal strength, and the gradient bars show which notifications are waiting for you. This doesn’t provide the user, though, which type of notification they’ve missed.
Meter is technically three wallpapers in one.
“Our hope is to encourage more developers to challenge how we interact with the devices we use every day”, reads the description of the gallery. App is guaranteed to be very informative and useful to those who are always conscious of their rime.

However the app seems to be working for Android 5.0 and further as we couldn’t install it on a device running Android KitKat 4.4.4.
