Google’s Top Searches: Sunny Leone Beats Salman Khan, PM Modi
In its end of the year list, Google has published the top ten most searched for topics in India this year and without a doubt an online shopping portal took away the cake!

Adult film star-turned-Bollywood actress Sunny Leone is literally taking the Internet by storm. That was the same year he came to power as the Prime Minister of the country. Modi and Kalam aside, the top 10 searched people in India this year were related to the Hindi film industry. During the year, Leone acted in two Hindi movies – Ek Paheli Leela(rated 3.7/10 on IMDb) and Kuch Kuch Locha Hai (rated 2.8/10 on IMDb).
Meanwhile, “Baahubali” remained the top searched film on Google and ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 remained the top trending searches in 2015.

Well, not Salman Khan but Sunny Leone has topped the charts this time. Katrina Kaif holds the fourth position in the list with Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan and Yo Yo Honey Singh right behind (in that order). This year’s most googled Indians was Sunny Lenoe. Shharukh Khan is placed #6 and Indian PM Modi slipped to #10 this year, from the high of #2 last year.
