The team at Google responsible for its app suite has been quite busy on introducing updates for its Android OS.
Here’s a quick look at how the updated Google Slides works over Hangouts. The feature is available on Android phones and tablets starting today and rolling out over the next few days, Google said.
With the update, users can now export their notes, which are often taken in haste, and transfer them over to Google Docs, where they can transform the notes into full-blown text documents and share it with others to edit.
The Google Slide update makes presentations to be delivered over a Hangouts video call.

Google Slides helps you share your big ideas with the world, but sometimes presenting these ideas can be challenging. The new Keep update available from the Play Store will let users copy (export) their notes to Google Docs with a couple of touches. Then the app will automatically display your scheduled meetings on your calendar. Before a presentation starts on Google Hangout the preview will determine who is on the call. While doing the presentation, users can still do as they please on Slides. You can also advance slides, keep track of time with the app’s built-in timer and even see your speaker notes during your presentation. Slides has recently received offline functionality and the recent update will allow the app present to any screen via Chromecast or AirPlay give it an edge over PowerPoint.
