Google to become part of new company
“We are examining whether there are any implications over trademarks”, a BMW spokeswoman said on Tuesday.

In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Google said the new arrangement will take effect later this year and that it will likely result in two reportable, financial segments. “The whole point is that Alphabet companies should have independence and develop their own brands”, he writes.
Google was not immediately available for comment.

In a filing with federal regulator Securities and Exchange Commission, Google informed about its organizational restructuring.
Google no doubt remains “the biggest piece of the Alphabet” and will become its wholly-owned subsidiary. Fundamentally, we believe this allows us more management scale, as we can run things independently that aren’t very related. Moreover, former Google Executive Nikesh Arora, who is now President of Japanese telecom major SoftBank, is likely to be its next CEO as SoftBank’s founder and chief executive Masayoshi Son has chosen Arora to be his successor.
Moreover, both Sergey and Larry believe that the move will help Google -Alphabet from now on- to be more “accountable and cleaner”.
Okay! So Alphabet implies control over all communication and the future of business growth. Pichai joined Google in 2004 and has been involved in the development of Google Chrome, Chrome OS, Gmail and Google Maps, before taking over as Android head in March 2013 from Andy Rubin.
Page explained that “our model is to have a strong CEO who runs each business, with Sergey and me in service to them as needed”. “Maybe it’s better to sort them out a bit and make it clearer which ones are bringing in the bacon and which ones are science projects and which ones are long-term bets”.
Businesses that will operate separately under the Alphabet umbrella include Calico, which Google established to conduct health research in 2013; Nest, which Google acquired in 2014; Fiber, which is building high-speed broadband networks in several cities; and Google X, the research lab responsible for Google’s self-driving vehicle venture and previously developed its controversial Internet headset, known as Glass.

And why Alphabet? “We liked the name Alphabet because it means a collection of letters that represent language, one of humanity’s most important innovations, and is the core of how we index with Google search!”
