The Nexus 5 (2013) had a 16 GB base model, but Google did away with that with the launch of the Nexus 6 – which had a 32 GB option at the bottom.

So far we presumably know a lot about the upcoming Nexus devices – all thanks to the tipsters! Or so we believe.

LG Nexus 5X (2015) is said to feature a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display; Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor; 3GB of RAM; Adreno 418 GPU, and a 5-megapixel front camera. Just yesterday we heard that Google might launch the Nexus smartphones on September 29 in San Francisco. The leaked dimensions of the device is 159.4 x 78.3 x 6.6/8.5mm. For the part of Huawei, this could also be its chance to be more popular in the US.

Representatives for Google declined to comment on the September 29 date when techradar asked today.

According to a source that’s said to be reliable, the Nexus 5X will be around $50 more expensive than its predecessor.

As reported by GSM Arena, the offering will be the first Nexus phone for Huawei, a company that clearly wants to gain brand recognition. Both will offer USB Type-C ports. One of these devices will be manufactured by LG Electronics Inc.

It is expected to arrive with a 13 MP Sony IMX 278 camera on its rear.

Samsung might be planning to roll out Android 6.0 for these devices, but at trusted source claims that the company hasn’t even started development.

According to reports, the Nexus event will reveal a number of interesting things related to the device. The Chinese smartphone maker is still trying hard to establish itself in the U.S. and probably this is the best chance it could ever get. Also, it the next update of the OS will be numbered Android 6.0, instead of Android 5.2 as previously speculated. Until the end of the month, we suggest you take any and all Nexus 6 2015 leaks and rumors with a grain of salt.
