Also, Google has taken the wraps off prices of accessories for the new smartphones including those of USB Type-C chargers and cables, Nexus 5X cases, and the Nexus 6P cases. The Nexus 6P will run the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
At a news conference in San Francisco, the company also claims the 6P has the best-ever camera in a Nexus phone.
They might be the worst kept secrets in tech of late: Google’s next Nexus phones are here after months of leaked information and pictures.
The company’s second-generation Chromecast sports a new disc-like shape and is available in multiple colors.
It will also cost $35 in the US.
“It’s our most premium phone yet”, Google’s vice president of engineering Dave Burke said of the higher-end Nexus 6P.
Google has already sold almost 20 million Chromecast devices that allows a user to stream video from their smart device to a non-smart TV. This particular model is not as powerful as the Huawei Nexus 6P, yet it comes with enough punch to handle most tasks.
Chief amongst the new features is a 12.3 megapixel imaging sensor made by Sony, which is included in both phones.
So lets begin with the LG-made, Nexus 5X.
But it’s primarily the spiritual equivalent to what Google tried to achieve with the Nexus5 in 2013-create a smartphone as an entry point for pure Android and showcase that great doesn’t need to mean cheap.
Google’s Pixel C tablet starts at $499 for the 32GB model and $599 for the 64GB, and will be released in time for the holiday season. Nexus Protect costs $69 for the Nexus 5X and $89 for the Nexus 6P, and it’s available in the USA starting today with more countries to follow.

That could be troubling for the usual suspects (read: Verizon wireless customers) who might just want to know what carrier a device works on before pre-ordering.
