If you’ve ever lived in a big city, you surely know the feeling of finding yourself at a loss when trying to navigate its intricate routes.

Google India has launched a new app dubbed as Delhi Public Transport Offline that offers its users with offline directions for Delhi Metro and bus. Well, if you happen to be a New Delhi resident, Google has chose to give you a helping hand with finding your way around town by releasing a new transport navigation app.
The app will also provide information on directions between bus stops and metro routes as well, it added.
Perhaps that’s because Google has made this a very basic application in terms of design.
More than that, users can save destinations so they can access the information in the future. The new experimental app will be built into Google Maps and will help users get transit directions easily even when the connection is slow and data is hard to access, the internet giant said. Using the link, the app can be downloaded directly even without a Google Play Store account, reported the Press Trust of India.
Features on the app are expected to change given that it is still in an experimental stage.

The app uses transit data for Delhi Metro, DTC buses, DIMTS (Orange) buses, and Gurgaon Rapid Metro that are found on Google Maps. Given that every city around the world has its own unique transport infrastructure, it’s not clear what Google’s plans are for introducing similar apps in other cities around the world, but there is a demand for it. “Google Maps is already a must – where it can be used – but local apps like these have vast potential for locals and visitors alike”.
