Google will now link to iPhone apps in mobile Safari
Users will start seeing your app content in Safari on iOS at the end of October. You can tap any of the results from there and the Search results page will take you to the App Store to install the listed app or to the app itself that is already installed on your device. However, the search giant is no longer supporting any new integration on iOS 7 and iOS 8. This means that when you search for content using the Safari browser, you’ll see content found within an app, and you can then jump to that app to view the content by tapping on the search result.

Even though the new interface of the YouTube for iOS app is supposed to make things easier for users, it has mostly received bad reviews and an overall rating of two stars. But now, Google has said that similar support will also be available on Safari for anyone who is using iOS 9.
But this feature wasn’t available for Safari users at least till now.
Developers will be able to get their own content visible in the Google Search by simply adding Universal Links to the apps & then integrate them with the indexing SDK.
The result of the Google’s endeavor is to ultimately provide a better user experience, because it is better to use an application that was actually designed for the platform than a rather boorish mobile site. This gives app developers a way to popularise their content on Android and iOS right from the Search results page.

The new inbuilt video editing tools should make the YouTube iOS app a one-stop-only solution for YouTube publishers who use iOS devices once the YouTube Capture app’s recording capabilities will also be integrated. This feature will be made available on Android, Chrome for iOS and Safari.
