GOP candidate Donald Trump defends comments on Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly

The tension between Fox News host Megyn Kelly and presidential candidate Donald Trump is still the buzz, four days after the debate.

The billionaire businessman lashed out against Fox News’ Megyn Kelly for her questions during the campaign’s first debate. Trump needs “to understand that he is seeking the presidency of the United States now and that words do matter”, RNC spokesman Sean Spicer told NBC’s “Today” show on Saturday.

In an interview with CNN, Trump remarked that, “You could see there was blood coming out of her [Kelly] eyes, blood coming out of her wherever”.

“She gets out and she starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions”, Trump said.

Addressing comments he made last Friday in an interview on CNN, Trump said, “I said she was so angry that blood was coming out of her eyes”. The Internet is not buying it though.

Trump wants to change the conversation – and so do his rivals.

Trump clears that he meant not to say any vulgar when he commented about Mergyn Kelly’s question on his disparagement of women he doesn’t like as “fat pigs dogs, slobs and disgusting animals”.

Asked why he’s doing well despite many controversial comments, Trump said voters “like my message” and those in power are “grossly incompetent”.

The last Republican from this week – and certainly not the final one – to go after Trump was Texas Governor Rick Perry. Without him on hand, “I say with all due modesty, you would have had 2 million people and not 24 million people“.

Trump’s remarks cost him at least one appearance before conservative activists. She said the question was fair.

The comments about Kelly led RedState’s Erick Erickson to withdraw Trump’s invitation to a gathering hosted by the group in Atlanta this weekend, a decision his campaign said was made by a “total loser” who “has a history of supporting establishment losers in failed campaigns”.

“She should really be apologizing to me, you want to know the truth”. “And I will do that through a different system.”
The tycoon rounded on the health and insurance industry in the US. They all did well, however, Ohio Gov. John Kasich had the breakout night.

Appearing on CNN’s “Wolf” with Brianna Keilar, Graham stated, “I really think to be in the next debate, you ought to commit that you’re not going to run as an Independent”.

The surprise victor was Carly Fiorina, the businesswoman coming out in front with 22 per cent, while Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz were third and fourth with 13 per cent and 12 per cent respectively.

Trump, who has been calling in on-air to every network except Fox, tweeted Monday “Roger Ailes just called”.
