GOP candidates discuss jobs, taxes at undercard debate
Gov. Chris Christie may have been demoted to the undercard debate in Milwaukee on Tuesday, but he opted to go after the presumed Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton rather than his Republican rivals.

Records matter, Jindal argued attacking Christie for expanding food stamps and accepting Medicaid expansion with funding from President Barack Obama’s signature healthcare law, the Affordable Care Act that Republicans oppose.
The fourth Republican presidential debate unfolded Tuesday at the Milwaukee Theatre in Milwaukee.
“I’ll let you guys decide that”.
Christie shined again when he responded by complimenting Jindal on his work and defending his own record by pointing out that he’s been re-elected as an anti-abortion governor in a blue state.
Huckabee countered that Jindal’s comments were inaccurate.
On Fox News Wednesday (Nov. 11), Jindal was asked whether the comment made him look unpresidential.
The governor also said the tax code, “rigged for the rich”, needed to be reformed, saying if president he would get to “fire a whole bunch of IRS agents”.
In an email, Jindal campaign manager Timmy Teepell said the line took off because “Voters are exhausted of politicians who are all talk and no results”.
“We’ve got four senators running, they’ve never cut anything”, Jindal said.
You can see the full CNN report and Jindal’s “juice box” comment here.
“Since we’re not going to answer the question”, Huckabee said, “let me just remind everybody, tomorrow is Veterans Day”.
It showed in his visible bewilderment and in his resolute unwillingness to break down and react when confronted by Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, who was intent on using every opportunity to attack Christie’s record in New Jersey, where he’s been governor since 2009. “They give these long speeches called filibusters”.
“In a world where we have Al Qaeda and ISIS, the mullahs in Iran and Vladimir Putin, the woman who asks to run and represent all of United States says that her greatest enemies are people like you in this audience and us here”, he said.
“Wait until you see what Hillary Clinton will do to this country and how she will drown us in debt”, Christie said.
Christie ended on a note of bipartisan hopes: “I will go to Washington … to bring this entire country together for a better future for our children and grandchildren”.
“They’ll call me lots of different things” in New Jersey, Christie said. “Because they FIGHT”, he screamed into the microphone.

I’ll be back to assess the main debate in a couple of hours.
