Hillary Clinton’s closest aide, Huma Abedin has announced she is separating from her husband Anthony Weiner, less than 24 hours after a newspaper published a fresh crop of lewd photos and text messages he reportedly sent to another woman, including one photo that showed his and Ms Abedin’s son. They scarcely saw each other amid the rigors of the presidential campaign, during which Politico noted Abedin was frequently seen without her wedding ring.

Abedin, who as vice chair of Clinton’s campaign is destined for big things if the Democrat is elected president, stayed with Weiner after a sexting scandal led him to resign from Congress in 2011 and after a new outbreak of online misbehavior wrecked his bid for NY mayor in 2013. When he ran for mayor of New York City two years later, his campaign stumbled when it was revealed he was still sexting women who were not his wife.
“Anthony and I remain devoted to doing what is best for our son, who is the light of our life”, she said.
“I said a long time ago that she’s married to a guy who is a disaster”, Trump told KIRO Radio’s Dori Monson. The newspaper reported that Weiner – wearing trousers but no shirt – sent one revealing picture of his crotch previous year while his young son, Jordan Zane, was curled in the bed next to him.

The photos were part of a months-long exchange between Weiner and the woman.

Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin said Monday that she is leaving her husband, Anthony Weiner, after the former NY congressman was accused in yet another sexting scandal.
Mr Weiner did not immediately reply to an email seeking his comment.
Weiner was forced to resign from Congress in 2011 after tweeting an image of himself in underpants.

She appeared in various bikinis and Mr Weiner was half-dressed, showing off his stomach or his groin – and they talked about sex. According to the New York Post report, most of the messages were sexual in nature.
