GOP establishment concedes uphill battle to win NH, Iowa
“I am already hearing more and more people getting fed up with the low road you’re taking against Cruz, which has obviously intensified this morning”. “And yet when that fight was being fought, Donald was nowhere to be found”, he said according to Politico’s Katie Glueck who attended a Cruz rally in Whitefield, N.H.

“But at a high school here on Monday evening, without prodding from anyone, Mr. Cruz delivered a searing critique of Mr. Trump in a room full of voters for the first time”.
Cruz kicked off on Sunday evening here his most aggressive move yet to compete in Trump’s strongest early voting state – a five-day, 17-event bus tour that will hit all ten counties in the Granite State.
“If someone tells you they’re tea party, you can’t be tea party and at the same time have supported TARP”, Cruz said, using an acronym for the Troubled Asset Relief Program, a controversial Wall Street bailout program. He continued, referring to Cruz as a “great hypocrite” for failing to disclose loans from Goldman Sachs and Citibank in an FEC filing. He added, “No wonder the banks do so well in the U.S. Senate”. “Unlike a number of candidates in the field, we don’t view any of these one states as a must-win for us”. Trump retorted: “Say whatever you want”.
Before Cruz even opened the door to a particularly raucous crowd in a pasta restaurant off the main town square, his top surrogate, former House Speaker Bill O’Brien, used the phrase behind Cruz’s line of attack: “New York values”.
Trump, campaigning in New Hampshire late Monday, did not bring up his rival’s accusations.
“And as much as I like Donald Trump personally, there is a marked difference between his record and my record”, Cruz said.
Cruz supporter Dan Gleason of Windham, New Hampshire, said Cruz stands out from the pack because of his apparent commitment to upholding the Constitution.
“I like what he’s saying, and I’d love for him to have a role in the administration, but I want Ted to be president”, she said.

Polls show Cruz and Trump locked in a tight race in Iowa, but Trump is polling considerably better in New Hampshire.
