GOP Infighters Need to Focus on Trump

At first glance, that’s just what happened Tuesday night. Rubio’s decision to come out as a robot built by Glenn Beck appears to have cost him dearly, as he is now tied with Ben Carson – a perpetually sedated amateur Egyptologist who doesn’t even really have a campaign anymore – for third place. John Kasich, who barely campaigned in Iowa and came in eighth out of 11 candidates, finished in second place in New Hampshire.

The Republican primary in SC will be held on February 20.

Christie racked up a long list of notable endorsements from state legislative leaders in New Hampshire. He won female voters 55-44, seven in 10 women under 45 and 85 percent of 17- 29-year-olds.

The first southern state to vote in the primaries is a rough-and-tumble political swamp. Rubio delivered a mea culpa on Tuesday night on Twitter, where he said his disappointment was not with New Hampshire voters but with his debate misfire.

Following Donald Trump’s New Hampshire primary rout, arch-conservative rival Ted Cruz launched a sharp offensive today against the billionaire frontrunner, heralding a brutal battle for the next Republican contest in SC.

The GOP candidate said his brother remains popular in SC because of his administration’s unwavering support of the military.

While he certainly could be more efficient, to believe he could certainly start reeling off wins is to believe voters will suddenly start responding to him in a way they have not yet, anywhere.

Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders are flying high after their New Hampshire primary victories, according to a new poll.

Kasich, however, said he is confident he will perform well across the South. And he also said he was confident he can compete against Trump for the nomination, but it will take time. There’s a danger for the caucuses in the future if Kasich creates a path to the nomination that barely touches Iowa.

It comes just one week after Republican White House hopefuls last squared-off from Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire.

Though a good showing in New Hampshire was able to reestablish Bush as a threat, one wrong step for either candidate could spell disaster and the end of their campaign. After faring poorly in both states, Christie ended his campaign. Iowa has set the stage and determined the cast for this race. SC will tell us whether Sanders’ momentum can overcome Clinton’s organizational muscle and loyalty from African-American and Latino Democrats. He suggested that a nomination fight lasting through to the GOP’s summer convention isn’t a negative, ultimately leaving the delegates to argue over a nominee after they convene. So settle back – it could be a long wait.
