The FBI on Friday released almost 200 pages of summaries of interviews with Hillary Clinton aides, State Department officials and other witnesses from the agency’s investigation into the former secretary of state’s use of a private email server. It contained 189 pages, which contained interviews with close Clinton aides, State Department officials, and the Romanian hacker Marcel Lazar, known as “Guccifer”.

After learning that Obama used email with a pseudonym, Abedin… “Abedin expressed her amazement at the President’s use of a pseudonym”, the documents stated.
“At its heart, Clinton’s secret server was an end-run around government transparency laws created to hide corruption between the Clinton Foundation and her State Department, an arrangement which ultimately put our national security and sensitive diplomatic efforts at risk”, said Trump spokesman Jason Miller.
Only a few media outlets have picked up on Obamas’ use of a pseudonym when communicating with Clinton.
Clinton has said the decision to use a private email system was a mistake, but the controversy has dogged her campaign as the Democratic candidate for the presidency and raised public doubts about her trustworthiness, public opinion polls show.
The Judicial Watch case is one over over two dozen FOIA lawsuits related to Clinton’s emails. The FBI in July closed its investigation into her use of private email for official business without bringing charges against Clinton or her aides.
The report doesn’t provide more details on the contents of that particular email exchange, but says it took place on June 28, 2012, and had the subject line: “Re: Congratulations”.
The employee also said the Defense Department told the State Department a year ago it had found about 1,000 emails between Clinton and David Petraeus in its records from his time as the director of the United States Central Command.
The notes, released Friday, come from interviews with a number of Clinton’s top aides and supporters.
The new Federal Bureau of Investigation documents appear support Director Comey’s suggestion that, indeed Clinton may not have been sophisticated enough navigate the classification protocols. Mills said she worked with attorneys David Kendall and Heather Samuelson, who spent several months filtering e-mails to find.gov e-mail addresses, relevant keywords and the names of government officials. The emails were sent by employees at Platte River Networks, a firm hired to help manage Clinton’s server.

Combetta appeared before the House Oversight Committee last week, but invoked his Fifth Amendment rights and refused to answer questions. By including the emails recovered from the laptops in the immunity agreements, the Justice Department exempted key physical evidence from any potential criminal case against the aides.
