John McCain just two weeks after pledging to bring the fractured GOP together at the party’s nominating convention.

Trump has had wide support from Republicans in Arizona, winning the state’s presidential preference race with 47 percent of the vote. With the general election campaign now squarely underway, Republicans found themselves once again forced to answer questions about the latest boundary-defying pronouncement from Trump at a moment when most would rather be talking about Hillary Clinton’s record.
Responding to the speech, Trump said in an interview with ABC News that he’s, “made a lot of sacrifices”.
Hillary Clinton was right when she called my son “the best of America”.
Trump has denied the heroism of onetime GOP presidential nominee John McCain, even though the US senator from Arizona spent five and a half years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam.
“Like me, I think he’s also been very concerned about the incendiary statements plus the lack of solid policy”, coming from Trump, said Dent of his House colleague.
“I like Paul, but these are terrible times for our country”.
“I just visited with some incredible folks”.
The cautious reaction by some of Florida’s top GOP elected officials is a contrast to people such as former Gov. Jeb Bush, who has refused to endorse Trump.
In an interview with Sinclair Broadcast Group on Tuesday Trump did not even spare President Obama. “And we are confident in a victory next week regardless”.
Byrne said Trump’s “hypocrisy and bigotry” upset her months ago, but the attacks on the Khan family “make me very angry”. “I looked at Bernie sanders I said ‘he isn’t going to win”. “I trust she can lead”, Hanna wrote. We believed in American democracy; that with hard work and goodness of this country, we could share in and contribute to its blessings. “We need fighters in this country”.
Christine Vallone of Epping said she empathizes with Ghazala Khan after the Republican presidential nominee questioned why she kept silent while her husband Khizr Khan spoke about their son during the Democratic National Convention last week.
Khan pulled a copy of the Constitution out of his suit pocket and offered to lend it to Trump, asking if he had ever read it. That loss provided immediate sympathy for their message denouncing Trump’s anti-Muslim views but the real estate mogul predictably shot back anyway, drawing rebuke from his own party and the Veterans of Foreign Wars among others. None did so publicly and aides to both Ryan and Ayotte made clear their plans hadn’t changed.
Hewlett-Packard executive Meg Whitman – a prominent Republican fundraiser – also threw her support behind Mrs Clinton, saying: “Donald Trump’s demagoguery has undermined the fabric of our national character”.

But Khizr Kahn’s stirring speech has sidetracked the Trump campaign.
