GOP suspends partnership with NBC News for February debate
The Republican National Committee told NBC Friday it was suspending their broadcast partnership after the U.S. network’s cable news subsidiary was accused of asking questions in “bad faith” during the party’s last presidential debate. After all, he’s the one who agreed to let the party partner with CNBC for the debate.

The outcry from candidates and voters alike prompted the Republican party to act.
Republican presidential campaigns are planning to meet Sunday to discuss their issues with the primary debate process, NBC News has confirmed.
Carson’s solicitation, which cites “ridiculous “gotcha” questions” and “repeated attempts to get the candidates to fight each other”, directs backers to a donation page where they’re asked what changes they would like to see in the debate format. Aside from complaints that questions from CNBC moderators were biased and unfair, campaigns are concerned about everything from the amount of time they have to speak on stage to the criteria for qualifying for the main-stage and undercard events. The candidates will also be given 30-second closing statements.
Other campaigns expressed support too. “The RNC’s sole role in the primary debate process is to ensure that our candidates are given a full and fair opportunity to lay out their vision for America’s future”, chairman Reince Preibus wrote.
Officials from the Republican National Committee – the entity responsible for scheduling and co-sponsoring each of the officially sanctioned debates – have reportedly not been invited to attend at the gathering. “Why should we have these people that hate everything we stand for?” he asked.
“Censoring the press couldn’t be further from our minds”, Watt said. “How about talking about the substantive issues the people care about?”
Christine Ciccone is the highest-ranking official to leave the campaign since payroll cuts were announced.
But NBC News said in a statement: “This is a disappointing development”.
“You know, how about we stop letting left-wing liberals moderate Republican debates?” he said.
The NBC News-Telemundo debate is scheduled for Houston on February 26, and is co-sponsored by “National Review” magazine. “We’re actively monitoring the situation between the RNC and NBC News/Telemundo regarding the February 26 Republican presidential candidates’ debate”, Vice Chancellor/Vice President of University Marketing, Communication and Media Relations Richie C. Hunter stated in a release issued Friday afternoon.
Meanwhile, Christie, who won applause for his own attacks on the media Wednesday night, launched a separate fundraising effort on Thursday in response to a New York Times editorial that called for him to drop out of the race.

Though it had far lower viewership than the first two GOP debates, the first Democratic debate also set a record for the biggest TV audience ever for a Democratic campaign forum.
