GOP VP nominee Pence to be at 2 Pennsylvania events Tuesday

The 11-year-old who made national headlines this week for questioning Mike Pence about Donald Trump’s rhetoric said on Friday that he “wasn’t trying to be hostile” and emphasized his support for the Republican presidential nominee. He will make sure our soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines and Coast Guard have the resources they need-the training that they need-I promise you that.

“This is really a very simple choice”, he said of Trump’s race against Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee. Schricker said at Pence’s Raleigh, North Carolina, town hall.

Pence, a favorite of social conservatives, is expected to help shore up support for Trump in Republican strongholds of Northwest Iowa.

The rising sixth grader at Cary Academy attended Pence’s town hall event in Raleigh and was able to ask Pence a question directly.

“I’ve been watching the news lately and I’ve been noticing that you’ve been kind of softening up on Mr. Trump’s policies and words”, Schricker said.

As people passed by, bound for the rally, debate followed with the pro-Mike Pence crowd.

Schricker was most recently upset by Pence’s statements concerning Trump’s proposed Muslim ban and controversial comments about the Khan family.

On “MSNBC Live”, Jansing began the interview asking, “Was that a question that you came up with, did your mom help you, and what did you think about his answer?” And I just wanted to see a little bit, it was kind of nagging on my mind a little bit as I kept reading each report.

“I was not doing anything to offend him or the Trump campaign, Schricker added”.

Schricker said he started supporting Trump shortly after he annouced his candidacy.

“Donald Trump gets it”, he told the audience at the Sioux City Convention Center. And then now I’ve found a person who actually represents me.
