ESPN announced the full lineup of matchups for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge Tuesday in conjunction with the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Big Ten Conference.

Syracuse will be getting a repeat opponent despite appearing in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge for just the fourth time next season. “The ACC holds the 10-5-2 winning record in the previous 17 years”. Blossomgale is potentially one of three returning double-figure scorers for the Tigers, as Donte Grantham (10.2 ppg; 4.1 apg) and Avry Holmes (10.0 ppg; 2.8 rpg) are also back for the Tigers. The top overall seed is the Minnesota Golden Gophers, who are dedicating the season to assistant coach Todd Oakes, who is in his third battle with Leukemia, and was recently moved to hospice care. It’s the first time a Husker has earned consecutive Big Ten Freshman-of-the-Week honors.
The ACC may have placed six teams in the Sweet 16, owned half of the Elite Eight and Final Four last season, but any bragging would be lost on the Big Ten’s members.
The 14-game slate of inter-conference matchups to be played over a three-day period ith the games to be televised on either ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU.

The game will be played on Monday, Nov. 28, in Tallahassee, Fla. Both teams had disappointing ends to their season in the NCAA Tournament this year and both would have liked to have gone much further than they ended up going.
