GoPro has also made some useful improvements to the Hero5’s physical hardware. The folding drone comes in a backpack and features a removable stabilizer as well as a simple controller with a built-in display.

The firm suggested that the facility would also help users avoid missing critical moments. They can’t start editing a video or photo on one device and pick up where they left off on another. At the most basic level, the drone needs to have a 4K camera, sense and avoidance capabilities so that the drone doesn’t crash into things, camera stabilization, and the ability to take excellent footage, he said.
