GoPro reveal their first drone: Karma – plus all new…
That ends today as GoPro announce the Karma which they call “much more than a drone”. In addition to attaching it to the new Karma drone, you can also use it with existing camera mounts, so there’s no need to shell out for additional equipment.

GoPro hopes the launches will turn around its fortunes. The firm posted losses for each of its last three quarters totalling $233.7m (£179m).
GoPro today unveiled its Karma drone.
The move presents an opportunity for it to profit from a fast-growing market.
Rivals include DJI, Parrot, and Yuneec.
Details are a little scarce on the performance of the Karma drone for now, but it looks like it will be somewhere around DJI’s older Phantom 3 lineup. Just in case GoPro users wanted to yell at their devices.
The drone will cost $799 (£612). With increasing competition from other tech companies, GoPro has had trouble convincing Wall Street that it can continue attracting consumers to its cameras.
“And maybe it can carry it off because of its brand”.
The company designed its drone to be packed down to fit into a low-profile backpack.
That said, the cloud features do require a paid subscription to GoPro’s freshly minted service.
GoPro has also made some useful improvements to the Hero5’s physical hardware. The folding drone comes in a backpack and features a removable stabilizer as well as a simple controller with a built-in display.
You can say “that was sick” to add a highlight tag to a video.
The firm suggested that the facility would also help users avoid missing critical moments. They can’t start editing a video or photo on one device and pick up where they left off on another. At the most basic level, the drone needs to have a 4K camera, sense and avoidance capabilities so that the drone doesn’t crash into things, camera stabilization, and the ability to take excellent footage, he said. Subscribers get other perks like premium support, access to music soundtracks and discounts on accessories. 100 of its own staff, 100 athletes and 100 reporters (for the record, the BBC has paid its way).
The camera manufacturer is best known for its high quality mini cameras that people strap to their bodies to film action shots from a first person perspective.

Investors are giving the company the benefit of the doubt heading into the announcement, with shares Friday rising 5.7 percent, or $0.80, to close at $14.96. While the mobile app is effective for on-the-go editing, the desktop version should give you greater control over the editing process. But it could restore the company to profitability after bungled product rollouts over the previous year.
