Jose Fernandez returned from the disabled list and became only the third pitcher since 1914 to win his first 16 career decisions at home when the Miami Marlins beat the fading Washington Nationals 2-0 Saturday night. Overall, he gave up seven hits and walked two while striking out three.

Cody Asche of the Phillies hit two home runs to help Aaron Harang get his first victory in over a month. The Phillies loaded the bases with no outs, but Conley allowed just one run after getting Ruiz to ground into a double play.
