The poll included 802 registered voters interviewed between August 13 and 16.

In addition, the poll found, Walker’s support for his presidential run among GOP primary voters in Wisconsin has nose-dived from earlier this year.

On the Democratic side, Hillary Rodham Clinton is leading with 44 percent. It was at 41 percent four months ago, which was also his lowest since the poll was done in 2012. The Republican margin of error was plus or minus 6.6 percent.
