Gov. Rendell: Elizabeth Warren Not Ready For Hillary’s VP

“I think Elizabeth Warren is a wonderful, bright, passionate person, but with no experience in foreign affairs and not in any way, shape, or form ready to be commander in chief”, Rendell said during an interview with Philadelphia radio station WPHT-AM.

The move by the first-term MA senator, who many had urged to enter the 2016 race herself, provides progressive Democrats with a strong signal to rally around the party’s presumptive nominee.

Elizabeth Warren’s Twitter jabs at Donald Trump and impassioned Senate floor speeches have fueled speculation that the freshman senator from MA could be presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s pick for vice president.

Warren’s endorsement bolsters Clinton after a protracted campaign against Sanders that exposed her vulnerabilities as a candidate and sparked divisions among Democrats.

“I know you don’t want the job, but do you believe you would be capable of stepping into that job and doing that job if you were ever called to do it?”

Ed Rendell has come out against Elizabeth Warren as a possible choice for Hillary Clinton’s running mate, saying she’s not qualified. “I look forward to working with her on behalf of not only the campaign and her very effective critique of (Donald) Trump, but also on the issues that she and I both care about”.

“I have the highest regard for Sen”.

Clinton made history this week when she became the first woman to lead the ticket of a major political party.

Schilling pointed to Warren’s previous role as a professor at Harvard as hypocritical.

Ben Shapiro, editor of Daily Wire, took to social media late Thursday to have a little fun with the idea of Warren criticizing Trump and declaring that she’s ready to be commander in “chief”. She has previously said the US may be ready for a two-woman ticket this year and that she will focus on qualifications in her running-mate search.

“It’s easy for Democrats to attack Mr. Trump”, Turner said.
