Gov. Walker Issues Order to Arm Wisconsin National Guard
Governor Scott Walker this week said he thinks it’s time to replace the Government Accountability Board with an elections agency that is “truly accountable to the people of the state of Wisconsin”.

Safety must be our top priority, especially in light of the horrific attack in Chattanooga.
Scott’s executive order last Saturday came two days after a Kuwait-born gunman killed four Marines and a sailor in two separate attacks at military facilities in Chattanooga, Tenn.
Earlier this year, a Pew Charitable Trust report showed that Wisconsin has the fastest shrinking middle class in the nation, with real median household incomes falling 14.7 percent since 2000.
It did not specifically say which – or how many – National Guard members in the state would be armed as a result of the order.
Walker, who is seeking the 2016 GOP presidential nomination, issued the order Tuesday morning.
According to Fox News, National Guard members are the rare exception of military personnel who can be armed off-base. “If I could do anything to prevent it then I sure will”.
Relocate all Florida National Guard personnel at the state’s six storefront recruitment centers to the nearest Florida National Guard Armory until there are recommendations made to improve the security of storefront recruitment centers.

“We’ve initiated some steps to ensure the safety of our personnel so that they don’t become targets”, said Public Affairs Representative, Michael Kucharek. “They’re always going to be your brothers and sisters”.
