Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday slammed India for its atrocities in occupied Kashmir and warned that the country could not contain the voice of freedom via force.
The curfew and restrictions across the Kashmir valley continued for the 13th consecutive day in view of prevailing law and order situation.
Both India and Pakistan claim the entire Kashmir territory.
Replying to a debate on the Kashmir unrest in Lok Sabha where many members expressed concern over the injuries caused by pellet guns, he said an expert committee will be set up to recommend alternatives to pellet guns and it will submit its report in two months.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will review the use of pellet guns by security forces.

“We will form a committee of experts”.
The meeting demanded ban on the use of pellet guns by the Indian troops in the held valley for dispersing people exercising their right to protest. “We are obliged and grateful to the worldwide community and Pakistan for their moral support”, the spokesman said and expressed condolences and solidarity with the bereaved families besides prayed for speedy recovery of those injured during the more than two-week anti-India uprising in Valley.
In addition, 53 had suffered eye injuries in the past six years, Singh said. During the current protests, 38 civilians were killed and 2180 injured with 2055 of them having been discharged from hospitals.
He said that India had denied the oppressed people of IOK their right to self-determination that its founding fathers had pledged at the august forum of the United Nations Security Council and was enshrined in its resolutions.
The Government alone can not solve problems in Kashmir and all parties would have to work together, he said.
He also recalled the BJP stalwart’s mantra of “Kashmiriyat, jamhuriyat (democracy) and insaniyat (democracy)’ to solve the problem there and termed the Valley as India’s crow while making a reference to Aamir Khusro’s “heaven on earth” expression for it”. There is an attempt to misguide some. Singh said he had spoken to Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, who said she would come to Delhi in the next 2-3 days to hold discussions.
The Chief Minister interacted with the parents of the deceased youth and said she is pained to see the trauma they are undergoing due to the loss of their near and dear ones. “We will never leave Kashmiris alone”, he said. “I felt he (Modi) was in pain and anxious”.
In his talk with lawmakers, Singh said one person had been killed from pellet shots in the most recent violence in India’s only Muslim-majority state, bringing the total number of deaths from the weapon in Kashmir to seven since 2010.
Slamming Indian media for its “biased” approach while reporting in Kashmir, the spokesman said instead of taking into account the “brutalities” committed by 8 lakh Indian forces, this media is misleading the global community. Mehbooba said the government is, however, alive to the abject condition of such distressed families.

He also named Hafiz Saeed and Syed Salahuddin – Pakistan-based terror heads – for fuelling tension in Jammu and Kashmir following the July 8 killing of Hizbul militant Burhan Wani. Internet was blocked but it is no longer so, he said, adding that the web was being used to inflame passions.
