Governor Haley warns flood danger not over yet
Personnel from eight states has made their way to the state to help out in the recovery, including infrastructure and law enforcement help.

In a statement, issued as Georgetown County officials were preparing a press conference to tamp down concerns raised by the governor, Scott urged residents to evacuate the areas Haley listed as “high-risk”, including Pawleys Island and Georgetown.
“God bless the National Guard”, Haley said.
Haley also announced that the funeral for the SCDOT employee who died during the early hours of the flood crisis was held Saturday. I’m walking along this street with water up to my knees and further back it only gets deeper.
“Officials with the SCDNR and Georgetown County are asking boaters to stay off of flooded roadways and out of areas where homes are flooded unless absolutely necessary”.
