Clinton told reporters a year ago in a rare press conference that the more than 33,000 emails she ordered deleted concerned personal, non-work-related subjects like yoga sessions and the planning of her daughter Chelsea’s wedding.
Clinton’s campaign is also asking for a public release of the “full set of materials” to avoid selective leaks meant to damage her drive for the White House, according to the Hill.
Gowdy suspected that Clinton considered all her emails related to the controversial Clinton Foundation to be personal messages, and got rid of them instead of handing them over to the State Department.

The emails which will be released are related to their lawsuit over the 2012 Benghazi attack where four Americans, including US Ambassador Chris Stevens were killed during Secretary Clinton’s “Libya Gamble” in which Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi was assassinated. “We also have not determined if they involve Secretary Clinton”, said State Department spokesperson Elizabeth Trudeau.
McClatchy reported that a company called Datto Inc. realized last August that it had been backing up Clinton’s server to the cloud.
“President Obama and the administration have complete confidence in the independent career prosecutors at the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation who devoted significant time and attention to investigating Secretary Clinton’s email practices”, he said. The open source software, which is available for free download from its website, boasts that it doesn’t have any backdoors that would allow the National Security Agency (NSA) or any other federal agency from gaining access.

House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, addressed a letter to Comey requesting additional information about Clinton’s email server, and asking that the FBI create an unclassified version of the investigation briefing for public consumption.
