Grab Your Baskets, the Easter Egg Hunts Are On!

This fundraising event will feature vendor booths, egg hunts, dog treat hunts, Easter Bunny photos and more.

Morristown’s annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place at Lidgerwood Field on Saturday March 19 at 10:00a.m.

In Algoma, the Algoma Long-Term Care Unit will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt 1-3 p.m. Sunday, March 20. The annual Easter Egg Hunt throughout the centre has been given a slight twist for the year that’s in it.

Winnetka Recreation Center: Pancake breakfast fundraiser, arts and crafts, contests and egg hunt, 9 a.m.-noon.

Annual Spring Festival and Egg Hunt: Hosted by the Petaluma Mother’s Club, this yearly event takes place 11 a.m.to 2 p.m. The day will include jumpy house fun, a petting zoo, crafts, face painting, and, of course, an egg hunt. 3 p.m.: Brush – First annual Egg-Stravaganza hosted at the Brush VFW Memorial Park on South Clayton St., near the Brush pool.

These eggs are then distributed by firefighters to hospitals, Surestart centres, children’s homes, children with special needs and those living with foster parents. There are egg hunt divisions for ages infant to 10 years old. Children in fifth grade or younger can look for 5,000 plastic eggs hidden among straw bales. Each child was also able to find one “golden” egg that contained a slip to redeem Toys “R” Us gift cards ranging from $10 to $100.

Children should bring their own containers for the eggs.

The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures. Next Saturday, from 11 a.m.to 2 p.m., the Jr.

The village of Botkins hosts an egg hunt at Botkins Community Park at 2 p.m.

The hunt consisted of four age groups; two to four, five to seven, eight to ten, and eleven to twelve. 1 p.m. March 26 at Hill Park, 1301 W. Cuthbert Ave. The beer festival is open 3 to 10 p.m. March 18 and noon to 9 p.m. March 19 at the Vancouver Landing Amphitheater, 100 Columbia St., Vancouver. Families are asked to bring a Easter basket and cameras.
