The 24.95 million is a 1.4 percent drop from last year’s 25.3 million and the lowest since 2009.

Among the night’s more solemn performances, there will be a Lady Gaga tribute to David Bowie; a tribute to B.B. King with Chris Stapleton, Gary Clark Jr. and Bonnie Raitt; and the Eagles and Jackson Browne paying tribute to Glenn Frey.
The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences moved this year’s show to avoid airing on the middle night of a three-day weekend, which was also Valentine’s Day.
The CBS All Access live stream was available to consumers in 130 markets across the US, including New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, San Francisco, Boston, Detroit, Minneapolis, Miami, Denver, Sacramento, Pittsburgh and Baltimore.
CBS had hoped to capitalize on the attention the Grammy Awards were bringing, and promoted the service by offering one-week free trials to the otherwise $5.99/month over-the-top Netflix competitor.
CBS said the Grammys viewership was the largest audience for any entertainment program this season. From there, you can log in with your All Access credentials and enjoy the live Grammys stream.
