According to Grand County Sheriff Steven White, the man is the brother of “The Hills” actress Kristin Cavallari, who attended Laguna Beach High School and is married to Jay Cutler, an National Football League quarterback for the Chicago Bears.

According to a press release shared by the Grand County Sheriff’s Office, Michael’s 2014 Honda Civic was found abandoned November 27 on I-70 in Utah.
The auto was running and the airbags were deployed.
Cavallari, the 30-year-old brother of Cutler’s reality-star wife, Kristin, is the subject of a search in Grand County, over 700 miles from his home. Authorities said they believe Michael Cavallari was the driver. Police found a laptop and cell phone inside also belonging to the missing man. Security video from the store positively identified Michael, who is from San Clemente, CA.
Police say credit card transactions traced Michael to a convenience store in Monticello, Utah.
White said the auto appeared to have hit a large rock on the side of the road. “We’re deeming it suspicious, but there’s nothing to indicate anything one way or another”.

The Grand County Sheriff’s Department is treating it as an active missing person case, and has asked anyone in the area with information on Cavallari to contact them HERE. “The vehicle was just abandoned”.
