The 50 year old lady, Pauline Henderson, a security officer, left stunned after seeing the dead rodent inside the food packet.
She immediately moved towards the Tesco, from where she had purchased the product, in Portsmouth, to file a complaint.
According to the reports, the product’s company, Kellogg’s, has launched an investigation regarding the mishap.
In a talk with local media, Mrs. Pauline said “I noticed something black covered in the cornflakes. I got a spoon and gingerly moved the flakes out of the way. Then I saw the mouse. It was horrible and I felt absolutely sick”.
