AAA Predicts Highest Travel Volume on Record for Holiday Week
The average for gas in OR is up three cents to .32 a gallon heading into Christmas weekend, the cheapest it has been since 2008. On a national level, the number of year-end holiday travelers is expected to top 100 million for the first time on record.

Clemson (Watson and defensive end Shaq Lawson), Stanford (McCaffrey and guard Joshua Garnett) and Ohio State (safety Vonn Bell and tackle Taylor Decker) each had two players on the first team.

He was only able to knock it out in front of the net, and Palmieri snapped the rebound past him for his 14th goal at 12:05. If you missed the Detroit Red Wings’ 4-3 loss against the New Jersey Devils, we’ve got you covered.

Watson then said that the trophy doesn’t define who he is as a player or person and that he is happy he had the experience and that losing doesn’t necessarily give him more motivation heading into next season.

DDCA row: Campaign against Arun Jaitley will fail, says BJP
He also said that the defamation suits would not scare him from his path and his fight against corruption would continue. What compounded the crisis for Jaitley and his party was the attack by BJP lawmaker Kirti Azad on the issue.

In 36 career games, Henry has 547 rushing attempts for 3,358 yards and 37 touchdowns. But this season, Kenyan Drake, playing Robin to Henry’s Batman, broke a bone in his right arm in Game 10 against Mississippi State.

Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson, in third place with 1,165 points, finished more than 800 points ahead of the fourth-place player, Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield.

Henry broke the Southeastern Conference record with 1,986 yards rushing – previously held by 1982 Heisman victor Herschel Walker – and matched a league mark with 23 touchdowns, leading No. 2 Alabama to the College Football Playoff.

Even if the “88 Heisman victor did it in two fewer games, the fact remains that no one had come close to his mark until McCaffrey’s smashing season, which has a game remaining”.

Henry has a chance to add a national title to his Heisman resume with the Tide headed toward the College Football Playoff semifinals in the Cotton Bowl against Michigan State.

Henry, whose height of 6 feet 3 and weight of 238 pounds has drawn comparisons to 1996 victor Eddie George, claimed his third trophy in two days.

Fast forward to Monday, and he’s in his second day of being “Derrick Henry, Heisman Trophy recipient”.

The focus of Derrick Henry’s Heisman Trophy acceptance speech, his grandmother Gladys, was surrounded by friends and family on Saturday as she remained hospitalized for fluid on her 81-year-old lungs. He is only the third player since the turn of the century to sweep the Heisman, Walter Camp and Maxwell, joining Marcus Mariota a year ago and Cam Newton in 2010. But Henry more than deserved the Heisman this year, and here are five key reasons why he did more than McCaffrey and all the others. “They worked so hard for me”, he said. All are outstanding, and each deserved a spot on my ballot: I went with them in the above order.

While Henry had plenty of preseason hype as the centerpiece of the Alabama offense with Amari Cooper and T.J. Yeldon gone, his Heisman campaign was truly launched on November 7, when he grinded out 210 yards and three touchdowns on 38 carries in the 30-16 win over LSU – a game that also turned the tide against LSU tailback Leonard Fournette in the race. This was the last time a running back had won the award since Ingram, who led the Tide to a national championship that season. He had four 200-yard games in the second half of the season. Last week I wrote, “Walker’s season-best didn’t earn him the Heisman – although he did win the award the following season – but Henry’s certainly will”.

And this year’s Heisman Trophy winner is … the Crimson Tide’s Derrick Henry
